!dnstrace-dns traces the delegation path of an Internet DNS name by walking the DNS hierarchy from the root nameservers down to the authoritative nameservers responsible for the domain.

This process follows the chain of NS records for each zone cut, giving clear visibility into how the DNS infrastructure resolves a domain name. Domain names such as tools.ietf.org, github.com, or google.is can be traced in this way.

You may also use !dnstrace or !dnstr to perform the same operation.

Usage:
!dnstrace-dns <domain-name>

Usage Examples:
!dnstrace-dns tools.ietf.org
!dnstrace-dns google.is
!dnstrace google.it
