Validate and analyze an IPv6 network address block expressed in Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) notation.
!cidr6 examines IPv6 network prefixes, determines prefix boundaries, interprets subnet structure, and understands allocation sizes. This command is designed for analyzing IPv6 network blocks in routing, subnetting, address planning, and diagnostics.
Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) notation is being used to describe Internet Protocol (IP) address blocks. IPv6 CIDR notation expresses a network prefix using colon-hexadecimal IPv6 syntax followed by a slash and a prefix length. This command provides detailed information about prefix size, allocation ranges, subnet boundaries, and related IPv6 network metadata.
Usually, you do not need to prefix your query with !cidr or !cidr6.
Usage:
!cidr6 <ipv6-cidr-prefix>
